Senior Trip to Kansas 2006
Undaunted by rain, mud, and ticks, a hearty group of ’06ers braved nature to spend the first week of May 2006 camping in the Flint Hills of Kansas. When it wasn’t raining (and sometimes even when it was), our favorite activities on the Kansas Trip included riding horses, shooting guns, working cattle, watching horse breaking, and singing around the campfire. Coming on the heels of the other ’06 class adventures, a week of camping was another time to bond as a class and grow closer to God. After two busy years of studying, the senior class trip to Kansas was a welcome time of relaxation and refocusing, not to mention lots of laughter and fun.
