Journalism
“This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD” (Psalm 102:18).
Media is the backbone of popular thought. Verity’s goal for the Journalism Program is to equip students to influence their culture through a biblical, God-honoring worldview. It is our desire to send Godly journalists to be “salt and light” to a morally deficient field.
The Journalism Program provides exposure to a broad base of foundational subjects essential for skillful communication. Knowledge of news reporting, communication law, public relations, persuasion, media writing, and mass communication will adequately equip a student for a future in journalism.
